Unleash Your Drive is a powerful initiative within schools across the UK, run jointly by Scottish Golf and the Golf Foundation, to enable mental resilience training through the power of golf. Working through local authorities and Active Schools coordinators, school children across Scotland are discovering skills that improve mental toughness and enable greater problem solving and ability to deal with common issues such as frustration. So far, around 90 schools are engaged in Unleash Your Drive across Scotland.

Scottish Golf has teamed up with the Scottish Golf Charitable Trust to offer a new fund for schools, with the aim of getting more children participating in sport across Scotland. 

Scottish Golf wants to ensure that participating schools have a strong link to their local golf club, whether through lunchtime clubs, after-school sessions or visits to the golf club, as this creates even more opportunities for juniors to get involved in sport. 

To supplement the delivery of Unleash Your Drive and to further support these school-club links, the Scottish Golf Charitable Trust has provided funding towards transport costs for schools to visit their local golf club. 

If your school has delivered the 6-week Unleash Your Drive programme and is located more than 20 minutes’ walk from the local golf club, you are eligible to apply for up to £250 towards the cost of transport for a class visit.
